It’s been a wild start to 2026 and we’re launching Screen Dispatch, a new industry news and review site focused on film, projects in development, and what’s actually going on behind the headlines. What makes this different is that we’re looking at multiple sources, pulling in different opinions, and building a clearer picture of what’s really happening. Where it’s useful, we’ll point you to other articles on the same topic so you can see the wider conversation.

Something that’s important to us is tracking projects that go quiet. There are a lot of films and series that get announced, get a bit of press, and then disappear for months or even years. We’ve been watching a number of these ourselves and we know we’re not the only ones wondering what happened to them, so that’s a big part of what we’ll be covering.

The site is run by husband and wife team Alan and Sally Boundian, alongside a growing group of independent filmmakers who will be contributing reviews and industry content as things develop. If you’ve got a project you’d like reviewed, you can send us a screener and a press release via email, or through the contact page once it’s live. We’re not working strictly in order of submissions, we’ll be covering the projects that catch our interest.

This is very much a site built around looking at both ends of the scale, from the huge budgets being spent on major productions to the smaller, unusual films being made for a few hundred or a few thousand pounds. We’ll focus mainly on film, but we’ll dip into streaming and series where it feels relevant.

Hopefully you find it interesting.
